Addressing is another service we provide for Stoddard County. Most of the towns are addressed by the city hall in each respective town, but we do assist some with addressing inside their city limits. However, we take care of everything out in the county.

We now have a GPS system that we use to help make our addressing accurate. Along with this, we have a program on our computer called ArcView9. When we drive to the location we are addressing, it gives us the number that should be assigned for that geographical location according to the ranges that have been entered.

It is important that in the event you move, build a house, or have a problem with your 911 address that you contact our office. We will be more than happy to help you in any way possible.

We completed 158 addresses for the year of 2007. As of September 1, we have completed 96 addresses for the year of 2008.
